How much do you charge?

Pricing varies based on the duration and type of session or special event as well as the image package selected. General pricing information can be found on our Services page. Upon receiving your booking request, one of our client service representatives may send you a questionnaire and schedule a consultation with you to gather more specific details needed to provide you with a formal proposal, which includes a client service agreement, invoice, and payment schedule.

When is the balance due?

With the exception of Micro Portraits, there is a 25 percent non-refundable retainer due within five days of reserving a session or event. Micro Sessions portraits require payment in full within five days of reserving. Unless other payment arrangements have been made, the balance for all portrait, elopement and non-wedding event photography services is due in full no later than five days before the scheduled session. The balance for all wedding photography services is due no later than seven days after the scheduled event. Other photography products including digital images, prints, and albums are billed separately with the full balance due immediately upon receipt if purchased directly from the online store or within five days of the issuance date for emailed invoices.  

Why do you charge a non-refundable retainer?

From the moment you submit your booking request, we are hard at work making sure we deliver the world class client experience you want and deserve. Your non-refundable retainer not only ensures your booking date and time is exclusively reserved for you and no one else, it also guarantees we will expend the time and resources necessary to fully prepare for your session or event. On average, we spend no less than four hours preparing for a portrait session and 20 hours preparing for an event. This includes developing materials like proposals, style guides, questionnaires, and timelines; conducting brainstorming and location planning sessions; and acquiring any specialized equipment and props required.
