When will I receive all of my photos?
Delivery timeframes vary based on the type of portrait session or event, so you should consult your client agreement for a more precise timeframe. Proof galleries are typically delivered within one-three weeks for portrait sessions and elopements, and four-six weeks for weddings. Once the client purchases and notifies the photographer of their image selections, the finalized images are typically delivered within two-four weeks for portrait sessions and elopements, and two-four months for weddings.
What if I need my photos sooner than the standard delivery timeframe?
The editing process is one of the most crucial and longest components of photography. On average, it takes no less than 10 minutes to edit one photo, which only includes basic color correction and minimal retouching (i.e. light skin softening and/or blemish removal). Our goal is to ensure photos look as true to life as possible, so we do not use presets, filters, or any other "shortcuts" that aren't custom developed by our team. This increases the importance of making sure we allow sufficient time for the editing phase, particularly for portrait sessions or events where the lighting and/or environment is more uncontrolled and the photos require advanced editing techniques in order to ensure the images reflect our best work. Additionally, we plan all other project and business activities around the standard gallery delivery timeframes to ensure each client receives the world class customer experience that they deserve. If there is a specific reason you need your photos delivered sooner than the standard delivery timeframe, please communicate that to your photographer as soon as possible. She may be agreeable to editing and delivering a select few images prior to the targeted delivery date for your full gallery.
